I have been a loyal patron of Edwin Star for almost 16 years (2008). I know many other people who feel the same way about this being the best place for professional and quality grooming. They equally specialize in Men and Women; everyone there is always in high spirits and good energy. The new shop is bigger and better. The quality Edwin and his crew delivers on a consistent basis is remarkable and has been the best in the DMV for well over a decade. I could not imagine going anywhere else.

Ariel Feliz is hands down one of the best barbers around! He’s been cutting my hair—and my son’s for quite some time now, and we’ve never been disappointed. Ariel has been my go-to barber for over a year, and he consistently shows some of the best attention to detail I’ve ever seen. Every single cut has been phenomenal—I truly have no complaints. He delivers some of the best fades, beard trims, and lineups you can get in the area, especially for the price. Other shops nearby charge significantly more for lower quality. If you're in the Rockville or North Bethesda area, I highly recommend booking with Ariel. You won’t be disappointed.

This barbershop is amazing. The shop is relatively new but the crew consists of the team barbers that use to operate up the street on top of the pancake house and have been mastering their craft for years. I've been going to get my haircut by this team since 2008 and have sent my family there as well and we keep on coming back, even to their new location. My go to are Chamo & Kobe depending on who is free since I'm the type of person to get a haircut when free time magically appears in my busy schedule. I wouldn't hesitate getting my haircut by anybody in the team if they aren't their because everyone here is solid. I travel from Bethesda because the price is fair, parking is free and it's close to so much in Rockville so I get to run some errands looking sharp after. Beard & a shave is $50 and totally worth it with the level of ease with scheduling & professionalism.

I’ve been getting my hair-cut with Edwin since i was at least 10 years old and now 15 years later I can still say the quality of each cut is still absolutely great and the environment at star hair design is very inviting and professional.

This is my very favorite barbershop so far, david (la maravilla) is a awesome barber, also the barbershop environment is very professional and welcoming, the staff and the owner edwin is very attentive and professional.. i highly recoment coming to this shop and experience the service. Prices a re also reasonable.
